Sunshine Day. Even When It's Snowing.

February 22 doesn’t feel like we’re anywhere close to Spring. Where we live now, it feels very much like Winter is going to stick around quite a while. And I am LOVING that. Because having lived in Dallas my whole life previous to our recent move to Colorado, I really didn’t even know about Winter.

I took that picture on my walk today. It’s just so beautiful around here that I still have to pinch myself- while getting out my phone constantly to take photos. I’ve always wanted to live in a place with 4 seasons. And now, I’ve got it. And I love it just as much as I thought I might.

Yesterday, a friend in Texas told me she had mowed and edged her lawn, and that the first signs of Spring are already showing up there. Wow. How quickly I’ve been able to forget about those overly mild and brief winters.

Meanwhile, here in Colorado, it just started snowing again. We’re suppose to get several inches by morning. The only sign of Spring around here is this little necklace I just listed in my Etsy shop.

I’ve got on a warm, green, fuzzy sweater today- not Spring clothing at all. But the funny thing is, when I put this necklace on, it works! A little sunshine goes a long way, especially in the Winter.
