Due to our entire house being painted, and slightly packed up, and the fact that we will be traveling the month of June, my Resparkable Vintage Etsy shop will be taking it's first hiatus beginning May 30th.

Shutting it down is necessary for June, but I also think it will be helpful to have a chance to spruce it up a bit once I return.  I plan on devoting first week or two in July to doing just that.  So, I probably won't take my shop out of "vacation mode" until mid-July.

For the past few weeks, although I've kept current items for sale, I haven't listed (or even made!) anything new since I had to pack up all my vintage chain that use to hang on a few bulletin boards in my studio.  Oh my goodness... packing up is not a fast process for me.  To keep things from getting tangled- or worse, lost!- I packaged up all of the chains in little zip lock bags. It made me very aware of what a vintage jewelry junkie I am, if there was ever any doubt.  I have a massive amount of trinkety treasures all over the place.

This was about a quarter way through my vintage chain pack up party...

Being "grounded" from it all for the month or two that I am, feels a little sad, but I know I will return to it truly rejuvenated.  I'm already feeling a little itchy and vacation hasn't even officially started!

So please check back here, and in my Etsy shop, once the days of summer have become sweltering.  Then I'll be ready to hole up in my studio, and hide from the heat and humidity here in Dallas. And I won't be the only one.
